About Camp Gan Izzy!
Camp Gan Israel is a summer day camp located at The Nettelhorst School where children enjoy days filled with joy, friendship, spirit, and Jewish pride! We are part of the largest and fastest-growing network of day camps with a reputation for being a pioneer in Jewish camping. Innovative ideas and creative activities guide the CGI experience, providing both enjoyment and inspiration for children to try new and exciting things!
Campers participate in interactive lessons & stories on the Jewish themes of the week, field trips to kids' favorite hotspots, swimming & water play, sports, STEAM activities, arts & crafts, specialized elective "funshops" (like dance or karate), guest entertainers, and LOTS more!
Check out details below on CGI's awesome age divisions where the camp day's structure & activities are geared specifically to each age level!
Camp Divisions: Incredible Experiences Tailored to Each Age Group!
Mini Gan Izzy
Mini Gan Izzy (ages 3-5): Our littlest campers enjoy age-appropriate trips, instructional swimming, water play, shows and Shabbat celebrations on Fridays, plus art, music, sports, 'mini chefs,' and lots more! Our Minis' camp day is very conscientiously structured (with naps included!) and they spend a lot of time safe, sound, and "close to home" on camp grounds.
Gan Izzy
Gan Izzy (1st-4th grades): Gan Izzy campers enjoy field trips to favorite kids' hot spots & attractions; swimming; interactive elective "Funshops" where campers pick from a catalog of exciting specialized activities like dance, unique sports, or culinary arts to name a few; thrilling Friday shows (magicians! animals! virtual reality!); plus science, art, sports, music, games, and much much more!
Pioneers
Pioneers (5th-7th grades): Our Pioneer Division enjoys an "amped-up" version of our already amazing summer program with a number of special surprises, trips, and unique activities tailored especially for tweens!
